The work of preparing International Standards is normally carrie
14、d out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. IS
15、O collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 3. The main task of technical committees is to prepare Internatio
16、nal Standards. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Llaboration des Normes internationales est en gnral confie aux comits techniques d
20、e lISO. Chaque comit membre intress par une tude a le droit de faire partie du comit technique cr cet effet. Les organisations internationales, gouvernementales et non gouvernementales, en liaison avec lISO participent galement aux travaux. LISO collabore troitement avec la Commission lectrotechniqu

In addition to this Inte
26、rnational Standard, ISO/TC 54, Essential oils, is preparing a Technical Report (ISO/TR 210921) where different numbers (CAS-USA, EINECS, CAS-EINECS, Fema, EC and FDA numbers) for the characterization of essential oils will be included. Characterization of essential oils by using a single number (for
27、 instance, the CAS number) would not be complete and could lead to ambiguity and misunderstandings. That is the reason why, through the above-mentioned Technical Report, ISO/TC 54 intends to provide the users of essential oils with useful information for a complete characterization of the essential

30、rmoniser leur nomenclature. En complment la prsente Norme internationale, lISO/TC 54, Huiles essentielles, prpare un Rapport technique (ISO/TR 210921) dans lequel seront inclus diffrents numros (CAS-USA, EINECS, CAS-EINECS, Fema, EC et FDA) de caractrisation des huiles essentielles. La caractrisatio
31、n des huiles essentielles par un seul numro (par exemple le numro CAS) ne serait pas complte et pourrait engendrer des ambiguts et des erreurs. Cest la raison pour laquelle, par le biais du Rapport technique mentionn ci-dessus, lISO/TC 54 fournira aux utilisateurs une caractrisation complte des huil
