This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the tubular steel adjustable Remark: The units and numerical values given in I 1 in

5、 this standard are in accordance with the International System of Units (SI), and are appended for reference. 2. Classification The tubular steel adjustable shores shall be classified into Classes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 according to the maximum using length specified in Table 2. 3. Names of Each Part The

6、tubular steel adjustable shores shall consist of waist tube, insertion tube, adjusting screw , supporting pin, etc. as given in Fig. 1 and shall have a receiving plate at the upper and a base-plate at the lower and thereof. (4) The length of the overlap part of insertion tube and wa

18、ist tube part (meaning the part consisting of waist tube, baseplate and adjusting screw; the same meaning applies hereinafter,) when the tubular steel adjustable shores are extended to the maximum using length, shall be not less than 280 mm (150 mm for the tubular steel adjustable shores of under 25

19、00 mm in maximum using length). 20、sting screw of tubular steel adjustable shores shall be as 0 follows: (a) The length of internal screw thread part shall be not less than 30 mm. 5 . (b) The length of the part cut with external screw threads shall be not less than 150 mm. (6) The insertion tube shall have the hole used for inserting

21、 the supporting pin. (7) The diameter of supporting pin shall be not less than 11.0 mm. (8) The receiving plate and baseplate shall be as follows: (a) The thickness shall be not less than 5.4 mm. e (b) The size shall be that given in Fig. 2 and further they shall have 4 bolt holes of 12 mm min. in d

Manufacture The manufacturing method of tubular steel adjustable shores shall be as follows : (1) The steel tubes free from bending, dent, crack, etc. , shall

28、be used and the waist tube and insertion tube without extension joint shall be used. 29、out license from IHS -,-,- 7 A 8651-1985 (2) The working and machining of materials shali be carried out so as not to generate the decrease of strength due to warpage, torsion, etc. (3) The attaching of receiving plate and baseplate shall be carried out as follows : (a) The center of receiving plate

30、 and baseplate shall agree with the axis of tube. (b) The receiving plate and baseplate shall be at a right angles with the axis of tube. (c) The receiving plate and baseplate shall mutually be in the same direction. (4) The attaching of receiving plate and insertion tube, baseplate and waist tube,

31、and waist tube and adjusting screw shall be respectively carried out by whole-peripheral welding. (5) The welding shall generally be carried out by arc welding. (6) The tubular steel adjustable shores shall be prepared by a method wherein after cleaning them by removing adhering substances such as d

32、ust , dirt etc., they are processed with coating by rust preventive paint or surface treatment by coating. etc., developed black skin, rust, harmful flaws , projections 6. Test Methods 6.1 Test for Compressive Strength by Both end Knife Edge Press The tubular steel adjustable shores of the maximum u

33、sing length is attached to the tester by using core metal, knife edge and knife edge receiving seat so that the edge direction of knife edge becomes vertical to that of supporting pin as given in Fig. 4, then loaded with compressive load and the maximum value of load shall be measured. e Fig. 4 Test

36、accordance with the finish symbol specified in the definitions and designation of JIS B 0601. 6.2 Test for Compressive Strength by Both end Flat Press The tubular steel adjustable shore of the maximum using length (3500 mm when that value exceeds 3500 mm) is attached to the tester so that the center

37、 of receiving plate and baseplate align with the center of loading plate of tester as given in Fig. 6, then, applied with compressive load and the maximum value of load shall be measured. A 8651-1985 7. Inspection the following plans and the acceptance or rejection shal

39、l be determined. The strength, structure and others specified in 4. shall be inspected by (1) As to the strength, it is the plan where not less than 5 samples are respectively sampled from one lot. (2) As to structure and others, it is the reasonable sampling plan. 8, Marking The receiving plate and

40、 baseplate shall be marked with the following information : (1) Manufacturers name or mark (2) Year of manufacture , division of first and second half years , or their mark (3) Designation of “KATA“ (Japanese) (frame) indicating the use for the timbering in concrete works (formwork timbering) Applic
