2、riginal Japanese Industrial Standard revised by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee, as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard submitted by The Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF) with the dr

3、aft being attached, based on the provision of Article 12 Clause 1 of the Industrial Standardization Law applicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Consequently JIS G 3455 : 1988 is replaced with this Standard. This revision has been made based on IS0 9329-2 : 1997 Seamless st

4、eel tubes for pressure purposes-Technical delivery conditions-Part 2: Unalloyed and alloyed steels with specified elevated temperature properties for the purposes of making it easier to compare this Standard with International Standard; to prepare Japanese Industrial Standard conforming with Interna

5、tional Standard; and to propose a draft of an International Standard which is based on Japanese Industrial Standard. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some parts of this Standard may conflict with a patent right, application for a patent after opening to the public, utility model right or a

6、pplication for registration of utility model after opening to the public which have technical properties. 14、 has been prepared based on the first edition of IS0 9329-2 Seamless steel tubes for pressure purposes-Technical delivery conditions-Part 2: Unalloyed and alloyed steels with specified elevated tem- perature properties published in 1997 with some modifications of the technical con- tents. The portio

15、ns given sidelines or dotted underlines are the matters modified from the original International Standard. A list of modifications with the explanations is given in annex 2 (informative). 1 Scope “pipes”) used for high pressure service at a maximum temperature of 350 “C. This Standard specifies the

16、carbon steel pipes (hereafter referred to as Remarks 1 With the previous agreement of the manufacturer, the purchaser may designate part or all of the supplementary quality requirements specified in annex 1, in addition to the items specified in this text. 2 The International Standard corresponding

STS 370 STS 410 STS 480 Seamless: S Method of manufacture Method of manufacture shall be as follows: The pipe shall be manufactured from killed steel by the seamless process and shall be finished according to table 1. The pipe shall be subjected to the heat treatment specified in t

24、able 2. The heat treatment other than those specified in table 2 shall be agreed upon by the pur- chaser and the manufacturer. When required by the purchaser, the pipe may be furnished with a bevel end(1). Note (l) Unless otherwise specified, the shape of the bevel end shall be as shown in figure 1.

Product analysis 6 Mechanical properties 6.1 The pipe shall be tested in accordance with 10.2 and the tens

29、ile strength, yield point or proof stress and elongation of the pipe obtained shall comply with table 4. When the ten- sile test is carried out for No. 12 or No. 5 test piece for the pipe under 8 mm in wall thickness, the minimum value of elongation shall be in accordance with table 5. Tensile stren

30、gth, yield point or proof stress and elongation Remarks : The values in table 5 are obtained by subtracting 1.5 % from the values of elongation given in table 4 for each 1 mm decrease in wall thick- ness, and rounding off to an integer in accordance with rule A of JIS Z 8401. 36、6.3 Bending For the pipe whose outside diameter is 50 mm or smaller, the pur- chaser may specify the bending test instead of the flattening test. In the test of 10.4, the pipe shall be free from the occurrence of flaws or cracks on its wall sur- face. In this case, the pipe shall be bent through 90“

37、 around an inside radius that is 6 times its outside diameter. 7 Hydraulic test characteristic or nondestructive characteristic The pipe shall be tested for hydraulic test or nondestructive test in accordance with 10.5 and the resulting characteristics shall conform to the following. a) Hydraulic te

38、st characteristic the pipe shall withstand it without leakage. Nondestructive test characteristic When applied the test specified in 10.5 b), there shall be no signal greater than those produced by the artificial defects of the reference test block of division UD of the working sensitivity specified

39、 in JIS G 0582 or of the division EY of the working sensitivity specified in JIS G 0583. However, for the nominal diameter, either A or B shall be used, with the letter A or B suffixed to the figures of nomi- nal

42、diameter for identification. 2 The mass value shall be calculated from the following formula assuming 1 cms of steel to be 7.85 g and rounded off to 3 significant figures in accordance with rule A of JIS Z 8401. However, the values exceeding 1 O00 kg/m shall be rounded off to whole numbers in kg/m.

The wall thickness deviation shall not be applied to the pipe under 5.6 mm in wall thickness. 2 When the length of circumference is used in measuring the tolerance on the outside diameter, either the measured value of the length of circum- ference or the diameter derived from the measured value may be used as the criteria.
