The most recent editions of the standards (including amen

JIS G 0551 Methods of austenite grain size determination for steel JIS K 8951 Sulfuric acid JIS K 9001 Potassium thiocyanate JIS R 6253 JIS Z 8401 Waterproof abrasive papers Guide to the rounding of numbers 3 Measuring apparatus The measuring apparatus shall

13、 be assembled with a potentiostat, an electric potential sweepage device, a recorder, a reference electrode, an electrolytic bath and a thermostatic bath. The reference electrode is generally connected to a Luggin capillary via a liquid bridge and an agar bridge. The flap of the Luggin capillary is

Because potassium thiocyanate has high deliquescence property, it shall be necessarily weighed quickly with a weighing bottle. Information : 5 Test piece The test piece shall conform to the following respectiv

18、e items: The test area shall generally be of 1 cm2. The preparation method of test piece shall generally be by cutting or grinding. When inevitably sheared, the region to be influenced by shearing shall be re- moved by witting or grindin3g so that the test surface is free from influences by strain.

19、For the test surface, the test piece surface free from thermal affects due to cut- ting, soldering, etc. shall be used. The test surface shall be wetly ground with the abrasive paper specified in JIS R 6253 to P120 min. and sufficiently washed with water or alcohol. The connection of a test piece to

20、 a lead wire shall be carried out by soldering, spot welding, conductive coating, etc. The part other than the test surface shall be covered with insulating material of eminent chemical resistance ( 1 ) . Then, after confirming that the natural electrode potential of test piece is in an active con- dition with an electrometer, carry out anode polarization from natural electrode potential with a potentiostat and an electric potential sweepage device. After potentiokinetic reactiva- tion, allow the electric potential at which anode current becomes zero to be the end point. Further, when the immersed test piece does not i

Thereafter, let it stand in an open circuit condition for 5 min and activate it. Information :
