3、 by the Minister of International Trade and Industry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee in accordance with the Industrial Standardization Law. Consequently JIS H 5203 : 1992 is replaced with JIS H 5203 : 2000. In this revision, an emphasis is placed on achievement o

4、f conformation of Japanese Industrial Standard with International Standard, and all specified contents of the corresponding International Standard are adopted, and contents of the classes, symbols, shapes, dimensions, mass, inspection and markings of the former Japanese Industrial Standard are added

5、 and integrated. 9、 conforming the corresponding parts to the corresponding Interna- tional Standards, based on three Standards : IS0 121 issued in 1980, Magnesium- aluminium-zinc alloy ingots and alloy castings-Chemical composition and mechanical properties of sand cast reference test bars, IS0 2377 issued in 1972, M

10、agnesium alloy sand castings-Reference test bar, and IS0 3115 issued in 1981, Castings in magnesi- um alloys containing zirconium-Chemical composition and mechanical properties. The contents of the classes and symbols, shapes, dimensions and mass, inspection and markings which have been conventional

11、ly specified in Japanese Industrial Standards are additively specified. 1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the magnesium alloy castings (hereafter referred to as “castings”) of sand mold castings, metal mold castings, preci- sion castings or the like. Remarks The International Stand

RE of classes 8 and 10

37、 is principally cerium (Ce). RE of class 9 is added by Di : Didymium metal consists of not less than 70 % of neodymium (Nd) and praseodymium (Pr) for most of the remain- der.
