This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the carbon and alloy steel forgings imparted a high weldability , hereinafter referred

4、to as the llforgingsll to be used for the manufacture of pressure vessels and their components for low temperature service. Remark: The units and numerical values given in 1 in this Standard are based on the International System of Units (SI) and are appended for informative reference. -1 i 2. Class

At the request of the purchaser, the manufacturer shall have the presence of the purchaser at the tests. 9.2 C hemcial Analysis 9.2.1 General for Chemical Analysis The general

11、matters of chemical analysis shall be as specified in 4.1 of JIS G 0306. 9.2.2 Analysis Method one of the following Standards. 12、ethod of Sampling Test Specimens The method of sampling the test specimens shall be as specified in 4.2.2 (1.1) of JIS G 0306. 9.3.2 Method of Sampling Test Pieces The method of sampling the test pieces shall be as specified in 4.2.2 (1.2) of JIS G 0306. 9.3.3 Number of Specimens and Test Pieces The

13、 number of test specimens and test pieces shall be as specified in 4.2.2 (1.3) of JIS G 0306. 9.3.4 Mechanical Test Method Mechanical test methods shall be as given in the following: (1) The tensile test method shall be as specified in 4.2.2 (1.4) of JIS G 0306. The impact test method shall be as sp

14、ecified in 4.2.2 (1.5) of JIS G 0306. (2) 9.4 Shapes and Dimensions The shapes and measurement of dimensions of the forgings shall be as specified in 4.5 of JIS G 0306. 9.5 Appearance Test The test of the external appearance of the forgings shall be as specified in 4.3 of JIS G 0306. 9.6 Ultrasonic

15、Examination The purchaser may specify the ultrasonic examination. The test method shall be in accordance with JIS G 0587, as appropriate. 10. 16、-1988 10.2 Test after Repairs by Welding Where a defect is repaired by welding in accordance with 8.3, the test for it shall be as specified in 5.2 of JIS . G 0306. 11. Inspection 11.1 The inspection of the forgings shall be as follows: (1) General matters of inspection shall be as specified in 6. o
