4、, two standards of JIS C 2503 : 1990 Soft magnetic iron bars and JIS C 2504 : 1990 Soft magnetic iron plates have been revised and unified in this standard, and newly named as “Soft magnetic irons“. 9、terials, Part 8 : Specification for individual materials Section 6 - Soft magnetic metallic materials without modifying the technical contents for the corresponding parts. In this Standard, the portions underlined with dots are the matters not specified in the corresponding International Standard. 1

10、 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the general matters, char- acteristics, shapes and test methods of soft magnetic iron bars (hereafter referred to as “bars”), soft magnetic iron rods (hereafter referred to as “rods”), soft magnetic iron wires (hereafter referred to as ”wires”), sof

11、t magnetic iron sheets (hereafter referred to as “sheets”), and soft magnetic iron strips (hereafter referred to as “strips”) which are used as the iron cores, yokes, contacts of relays, electromagnets, magnetic clutches, brakes, generators and motors, and other magnetic shieldings. Note : The Inter

12、national Standard corresponding to this Standard is given be- low. 18、fines the magnetic field at an optional point. It is expressed in the unit of tesla (T). coercive field strength The magnetic field strength which makes the mag- netic flux density zero. It is expressed in the unit of ampere per meter (Alm). b) c) ageing The relative change in coercive field strengt

19、h resulting from a heat treatment at 100 O C k 5 O C for 100 h. It is expressed in the unit of percent (%l. bar A straight product of uniform cross-section of round, square, rectangular or regular polygonal. rod A cold-drawn product of uniform cross-section of round or rectangular, sup- plied in str

Appearance The finish of product shall be good and uniform

29、and no scratches, 6.2 D . C . magnetic property Sheets, strips, bars and wires shall be subjected to the tests of 8.2, and their d.c. magnetic properties shall be as stated in Table 3. The magnetic properties are those after heat treatment. The heat treatment conditions may be agreed between the par

30、ties concerned with acceptance. The ageing shall not exceed 10 %, if so required at the time of ordering. Use of a protective container of adequate size is recom- mended. . 8.2.2 Windings The test specimen is covered with thin film of insulating mate- rial, then insulated copper wire is wound uniformly thereon as the

40、magnetic flux detecting coil. Then an insulated copper wire capable of passing the maximum mag- netizing current at the measurement is wound in one layer or multi layers by a number of turns which is enough to cause the maximum magnetic field strength, as the magnetizing coil. 8 . 2 . 3 Magnetic fie

42、age magnetic path (m) 8.2.4 Magnetic flux density The magnetic flux detecting coil (number of turns is Nz) is connected to an electronic integrator, ballistic galvanometer or fluxmeter, and the magnetic flux density shall be calculated from formula (4). 44、-,-,- STD-JIS C 2504-ENGL 2000 I 4933608 05bb709 OLT I I 9 C 2504 : 2000 8.2.5 Magnetic erasure The magnetic erasure of test specimen shall be carefully carried out by decreasing the magnetic field strength gradually from at least 5 kA/ m while the field is reversed repeatedly. 8.2.6 Coercive field

45、strength The coercive field strength shall be obtained in such a manner that the . magnetic field strength of 400 A/m is applied to the test specimen, then the field is reversed and the magnetic field strength when the mag- netic flux density becomes zero is measured. 8.3 Hardness test In the hardne

46、ss test the measurements are carried out b,y ! using B scale stated in JIS Z 2244 or JIS 2 2245. The measurement shall be car- ried out in accordance with JIS Z 2244 on strips with a thickness less than 2 mm. . The test specimens shall not be annealed. . 8.4 Bending test In the bending test, the res

47、istance to bending when the test specimen is bent through 90“ by means of a tester of the structure illustrated in Fig. 3 shall be examined. 48、measurement shall be made by using a micrometer with a mini- mum scale of 1/1 O00 mm. The position of measurement shall be as position 10 mm or more apart from the edges for a flat product of a width exceeding 25 mm, or a position on the lateral center for other products. Edge camber The sheet or strip is placed on a flat base as illustrated in Fig. 1, a ruler is placed so that the both ends touch the concave edge of the product and the maximum value of the distance between the edge and the ruler shall be
