Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the basic rack tooth profiles (hereafter referred to as the “tooth profile“), of gear cutters for spur gears, helical gears, double-helical gears, splines and serrations with involute tooth profile. R

5、emarks: The applicable standards to this Standard are as given in the following: JIS B O102 Glossary of Gear Terms JIS B 0174 Gear Cutters - Vocabulary JIS B 1602 Involute Serrations JIS B 1701 Involute Gear Tooth Profile and Dimensions JIS D 2001 Involute Spline for Automobiles 2. Definitions Defin

6、itions of principal terms used in this Standard shall be as defined in JIS B Dl74 and JIS B 0102. 3. Types and Symbols The types and symbols of the tooth profiles shall be in accordance with Table 1.
