Scope This standard covers files for t

Classes The set files shall be available in four combinations: a set of five different A seven-unit set may be files, a set of eight, a- set of ten, and a set of twelve. prepared from the set of eight without the o

15、 Cuts Cuts shall be divided into three classes applicable to each type of file: second cut, smooth cut and dead smooth cut. Quality 6. 1 Appearance Files shall be well-finished without such defects as flaws, cracks and injurious burrs. 6.2
17、 At least, the file shall bit equally well, with whatever face or portion of it, and be slip-proof on the standard test bar of HRC 56 - 58. 19、as known hardness and on which the hardness of a given file may be tested. 6.3 Sharpness and Durability Sharpness of the file shall be uniformly good . . . Inspection 7.1 Appearance Ordinarily, the inspection is done visually, and the result shall satisfy the requirements in 6.1, 7. 2 Hardness The hardness shall satisfy the requirements in 6.2, 8. Designation of Products The de
21、signation of product shall conform to number or name of standard, type, and the type of cuts. Examples: JIS B 4704, 8 File Set, Second Cut Set File, 5 File Set, Dead Smooth Cut 9.
