4、 Scope UDC 621.395.623.7 J I S C 5504-1992 This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies electrodynamic horn type loud- speakers, which are intended for use in general loudspeaker equipment of electrical communication apparatus (hereinafter referred to as the “loudspeakers“). Remarks 1. Loudspeaker me

5、ans an apparatus composed of horn and driving unit, hereinafter referred to as the “unit“, and a loudspeaker integrated in one body is called as “combination type“ and that whose horn and unit are separable is called as “separate type“. However, loudspeakers employing cone speaker as the driver are

6、excluded from application of this Standard. 2. 20、f sound pressure levels measured at 4 frequencies Le. 500 Hz, 1 kHz, 1.5 kHz and 2 kHz shall be not less than 104 dB, and for those with bore dimension of less than 200 mm, the average value of sound pressure levels measured at 4 frequencies i.e. 1 kHz, 1.5 kHz, 2 kHz and 3 kHz shall be not less tha

24、abnormality when subjected to the vibration test of 5.2.8. 3.9 Waterproof The loudspeaker shall be so constructed that it can withstand the rainfall expected in outdoor use, and the insulation resistance shall be not less than 1/10 of the respective value specified in 3.1 when the loudspeaker is sub

25、jected to the waterproof test of 5.2.9. 3.10 The loudspeaker shall be so constructed from suitable materials that it can withstand the high temperature expected in indoor and outdoor use, and shall not show any abnormality when subjected to the heat resistance test of 5.2.10. 3.11 Resistance to heat

26、 Resistance to cold The loudspeaker shall be so constructed from suitable materials that it can withstand the low temperature expected in indoor and outdoor use, and shall not show any abnormality when subjected to the cold resistance test Of 5.2.11. 4. Shape, dimensions and appearance 4.1 Appearanc

27、e General finish, assembly, etc. shall be in good state. 4.2 Dimensions The dimensions of horn bore, positions and dimensions of fixing holes of mounting metal fittings, dimensions of joint part and diameter of throat, and the tolerances thereon shall be as given in the following sub-clauses: (1) Di

28、mension of horn bore The dimension of horn bore shall be expressed by the dimension of outside diameter when the horn is circular, and by the dimensions of major axis and minor axis when modified shape, and the tolerances on the marked dimensions shall be as given in Table 3. 36、1.1 Standard test condition Unless otherwise specified the tests shall be carried out under the ordinary temperature of 5 to 35“C, ordinary humidity of 45 to 85 % and air pressure of 86 to 106 kPa (temperature grade 15 (t 15“C), humidity grade 20 (t 20 %) of JIS Z 8703). If any doubt arises on the d

37、ecision the tests shall be carried out under a temperature of 20 5 2“C, a relative humidity of 60 to 70 %, and an air pressure of 86 to 106 kPa Symbol I grade 2 in 5.2 (referee condition) of JIS C 0010). 39、round noise or other interference by 2 1 dB or more, irrespective of indoor or outdoor. 5.1.3 Measuring space The space for carrying out the test of 5.2.6 shall be such that the error at the point of measurement due to influence of reflection in a frequency band of 100 Hz to 10 kHz is, as a rule, wi

40、thin 2 1 dB. 5.1.4 Microphone The microphone for use in the measurement shall be a pressure-type electrostatic microphone the calibration values for sound field of which are known. 5.1.5 Standard horn For the test of units, the standard horn shall be used, as a rule (see Fig. 1). by employing a spec

42、de by automatic recording equipment, the rate of frequency change shall be such that the rate of change is slow enough so that the test result will not deviate much from the measured value at steady state, and the difference between the indicated value and the indicated value at standstill shall be

45、h the specified load being connected to the amplifier, shall be not more than 1 %. The variation of output voltage when the specified load is connected from that when a load corresponding to 10 times of the said load, shall be not more than 1 dB. If no doubt arises in judgement this condition may no

46、t necessarily be followed. (2) Test met hods 5.2.1 Test for appearance, dimensions and marking The dimensions of a loudspeaker shall be measured for those specified in 4.2 by using an appropriate dimensional measuring apparatus. required in 4.1 and 7. 47、mined on the particulars 5.2.2 Insulation resistance test The insulation resistance shall be measured between the body and voice coil with a d.c. 100 V insulation resistance tester, or between the body and primary side of matching transformer, if provided, with a d.c. 500 V insulation resistance tes

48、ter. 5.2.3 Voltage-proof test A.C. 100 V of power frequency is applied between the body and voice coil, or a.c. 500 V is applied between the body and primary side of matching transformer, if provided, for 1 min, and then whether any abnormality exists or not shall be examined in the test of 5.2.4. 5.2.4 Operation test A program signal whose maximum value is almost equal to the rated input of the loudspeaker shall be applied to the specimen as its input, and the volume, timbre, existence or nonexistence of noise or other abnorma
