Scope for measuring leak rate by pressurizing or depressurizing the t

6、est object and measuring the change of gas pressure before and after passage of the predecided time. This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the leak test method Remarks: The following standard is cited in this Standard: JIS Z 2300 Glossary of terms used in nondestructive testing 2. Definitions

7、JIS Z 2300 and the following definition apply. For the purpose of this Standard, the definitions given in depressurizing method the test object and measuring its pressure difference in the predecided period between start and finish of test. The method for measuring leak rate by depressurizing Appara

Preparation 4.1 Pretreatment of test object are removed beforehand, the test object shall be dried. After oil, grease, paint, etc. which may

Treatment of openings of test object An opening of test object is sealed The sealing materials which do not affect the test object should be used. 5. Test method 5.1 Test temperature temperature, unless

16、 otherwise specified. The test temperature of test object is a normal 5.2 Test pressure wise specified. The test pressure of test object is as follows, unless other- (i) In the case of pressurizing method, the test is performed by pressurizing the inside of test object to not exceeding 25% of the ma

17、ximal allowable pressure. (2) In the case of depressurizing method, the test is performed by depressuriz- ing the inside of test object and in the condition where the pressure dif- ference between the inside and atmospheric pressure is 2 kPa or more, 9.8 kPa or less. 5.3 Pressure holding time minute

18、s or more, unless otherwise specified. The pressure holding time of test object is 10 5.4 Test procedure 5.4.1 Test procedure of pressurizing method surizing method is as follows. 19、r, a recording paper, etc. are prepared. (b) The volume of test object is investigated beforehand. (c) Pretreatment and seal of the openings of test object are performed. (d) A pressure gauge is set to the test object and a pressurizing device is connected to it. (2) Pressurizing (a) The inside of t

20、est object is pressurized to the predecided pressure. (b) After pressurizing, the test is waited for some time till the instantaneous change of pressure is not observed. (cl As the initial values of test start, measurement values of pressure and temperature of test object and atmosphere are recorded

If the influence of temperature of the test object, and pressure and temperature of atmosphere can be disregarded on the test, these measurements may not be carried out. In the press

23、ure holding period, any changes of temperature and pressure (outside pressure) which may influence the test results shall not be given to the test object. (4) Measurement (4.1) After pressure holding in the predecided time, measurement values of pressure and temperature of test object and atmosphere

24、 are recorded with the measurement time. If the influence of temperature of the test object, and pressure and temperature of atmosphere can be disregarded on the test, these measurements may not be carried out. (4.2) The leak rate is calculated by the following method of (4.2.1) or (4.2.2). (4.2.1)

39、d. 3. In the calculation of leak rate, minus mark (-) of the calculated value means leakage from inside of test object to outside (flow direction of leak). It is unnecessary to note the marks (+, -) on the record, because that they have no meaning on the leak rate. (5) Release of pressurizing The pr

40、essure in the test object is released. (6) Posttreatment After measurement, an appropriate posttreatment shall be performed to remove influence on the test object. 42、rocedure of depres- (i) Preparation (a) A depressurizing device , a pressure gauge, a recording paper, etc. are prepared. (b) The volume of test object is investigated beforehand. (c) Pretreatment and seal of the openings of test object are performed. (d) A pressure gauge is set to the test object a

43、nd a depressurizing device is connected to it. (e) It is desirable that the coldtrap is set between the pressure gauge and the test object to decrease the influence on the pressure value due to emitted gas in case where a great deal of gas is emitted from the test object (in case where test precisio

44、n may be affected by emitted gas), because of measuring the pressure influenced by emitted gas (vapor) (refer to Figure 2). Fig. 2. If the influence of temperature of the test object, and pressure and temperature of atmosphere can be disregarded on the test,

46、 these measurements may not be carried out. (3) Pressure holding The test object is held as the depressurized condition in the predecided time. In the holding period, any changes of temperature and pressure (outside pressure) which may influence the test results shall not be given to the test object

48、(4) Measurement (a) After pressure holding in the predecided time, measurement values of pressure and temperature of test object and atomosphere are recorded with the measurement time. If the influence of temperature of the test object, and pressure and temperature of atmosphere can be disregarded on the test, these measurements may not be carried out. (b) The leak rate is calculated by one of the formulas (i), (3) and (4). (5) Release of depressurizing The opening of test object
