3、conomy, Trade and Industry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard submitted by The Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISFIJapanese Standards Association (JSA) with the draft being attached, based on t
4、he provision of Article 12 Clause 1 of the Industrial Standardization Law applicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Conse- quently JIS G 3104:1987 is replaced with this Standard. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some parts of this Standard may conflict with a paten

20、n JIS G 3191. 8 Test 8 . 1 Analytical tests 8 . 1 . 1 General matters of chemical analysis and sampling of analytical sample The chemical composition of steel bars shall be obtained by the cast analysis, and general matters of chemical analysis and the sampling of analytical sample shall conform to
21、clause 8 in JIS G 0404. 8 . 1 . 2 Analytical method The analytical method shall be as specified in JIS G 0320. 8 . 2 Mechanical tests 8 . 2 . 1 The general requirements of me- chanical tests shall comply with the specifications of clause 9 in JIS G 0404. However, the sampling of the sample product s
22、hall be as given in group A of 7.6 (test specimen sampling condition and test piece) in JIS G 0404, and the number of test pieces and the sampling position shall be as follows: General requirements of mechanical tests a b) C) Number of test pieces for tension test and bending test One test piece sha
23、ll be taken from each lot of the same heat and of the same diameter. However, two test pieces shall be taken from each lot of the aggregate mass of over 50 tons. Number of test pieces for longitudinal compression test One test piece shall be taken from each lot of the same heat and the same diameter
24、 with a mass of 10 tons. Sampling position of test pieces The sampling position of testpieces shall be in accordance with JIS G 0416. 8.2.2 compression test shall be as follows: a Tension test piece b) Bending test piece Test pieces The test pieces for the tension test, bending test and longitudinal

27、d longitudinal The method of the tension test shall be in accordance with JIS Z 2241. b) Method of bending test The method of the bending test shall be in accordance with JIS Z 2248. Method of longitudinal compression test After being heated to approximately 950 O C , the test piece shall be compres
28、sed to one-third of its original length in the longitudinal direction and existence of cracks on the outer surface of the test piece shall be checked. c 9 Inspection 9.1 Inspection The inspection shall be as follows: a) General matters of the inspection shall conform to JIS G 0404. b) The chemical c
29、omposition shall conform to clause 4. c) Mechanical properties shall conform to clause 5. d) The shape, dimensions and mass shall conform to clause 6. e) The appearance shall conform to clause 7. 9.2 Reinspection Steel bars which are rejected in the tension test, bending test or longitudinal pressur
30、e test may be retested for acceptance in accordance with 9.8 (re- tests) in JIS G 0404. 10 The steel bars which have passed the inspection shall be marked on each bundle with the following items by an appropriate method. However, part of items may be omitted, as agreed on between the purchaser and t
31、he manufacturer. a) Symbol indicating the class b) c) Dimensions d) Manufacturers name or its abbreviation Marking Heat number or inspection number 11 Report The report shall conform to the specification of 13 in JIS G 0404.
