Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the

5、determination of single sampling inspection plans having desired operation characteristics which apply the case of assuring the mean value of a lot or the lot fraction defective when the lot standard deviation .is known. Remarks 1. These plans are designed so that they have inspection operation char

6、acteristics desired by producers and consumers when the standard deviation of a lot is known and the mean value of the lot or the lot fraction defective is assured. the acceptance or rejection of a lot is determined by comparing the mean value of a characteristic value of a sample taken once from th

7、e lot with the acceptance value calculated on the basis of the known standard deviation of the lot. In these plans, In application of these inspection plans, the following con- ditions shall be met: (1) The quality of inspection unit can be expressed as variables. (2) The product can be handled in t

8、he form of lots. (3) The standard deviation of a characteristic value of the lot needs to be known. (4) In the case of fraction defective, it can not be avoided that the accepted lots contain some defectives, becuase the distribution of the characteristic value is assumed to be normal and it is assu

9、red that the lot fraction de- fective is within certain limits. 2. The units and numerieal values given in in this standard are in accordance with the International System of Units (SI), and are appended for information. A single object or a definite quantity of material to be inspection lot (hereinafter, referred to as lots) A collection of inspection
