Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the types and performances of fluorescent lamps to be used as CIE standard illuminant D65 in the case where the surface colours are compared visually (hereinafter referred to as fluorescent lamp D65). Remarks: The applicable standa

8、rties of Light Sources 2. Definitions For the purpose of this standard the following definitions apply. Other terms and definitions are given in JIS Z 8105 and JIS Z 8113. (1) CIE standard illuminant D65 Light source to realize approximately the standard illuminants D 65. (2) life When the fluoresce

9、nt lamp D65 has been lighted under specified conditions, either the shorter of the following total lighting times. (a) Total lighting time until it is not lighted. (b) Total lighting time until the total luminous flux drops to 60 % of initial luminous flux. (c) Total lighting time until it does not

10、comply with at least one performance of chromaticity, metamerism index or colour rendering index. Types and performances 3.1 Types The type of fluorescen

12、t lamp D65 shall be switched-started or starterless straight tube type lamp specified in JIS C 7601. 3.2 Rated life The rated life of fluorescent lamp D65 shall be 1500 h or longer . city, metamerism index and colour rendering index of fluorescent lamp D 6 5 shall be as follows. 3.3 Chromaticity, me

13、tamerism index and colour rendering index The chromati- (1) Chromaticity The chromaticity shall be measured by the method specified in JIS Z 8724 and. its value shall be on side or inside of quadrilateral enclosed by the following 4 coordinate points on CIE 1931 chromaticity diagram specified in JIS

15、lamp D 65, measure the relative spectral power distribution of fluorescent lamp D 6 5 based on the method specified in JIS Z 8724 and calculate using this value. Lighting and using conditions In the case where accurate colour comparison is conducted by holding the performance shown in 3., the lighting and using conditions of fluoresc

25、ent lamp D65 are preferable to be as follows. (i) Use for lighting the switch-start or starter-less ballast specified in JIS C 8108 and use within rated input voltage I 2 % of ballast. (2) Light taking tube axis horizontal. (3) Use since 20 min or over has been elapsed after starting. (4) Light at e

26、nvironmental temperature 25 2 3C of fluorescent lamp D65 in booth and in the state where the wind does not blow directly against fluores- cent lamp D65. (5) Dont use those having exceeded the rated life. 5. Luminaires In the case where accurate colour comparison is conducted by holding the performan

27、ce shown in 3., use the fluorescent lamp D65 built in the luminaire coimply- ing with the following conditions. (1) The luminaire shall be the underface open type. (2) The spectral reflectance of reflecting surface of reflection to be used for luminaire shall be little in selectivity for wave length

28、s in the range of wave length 300 to 780 nm. (3) Dont use for dimmer type luminaire.
