They like spending western festivals, eating western food and living in a free manner. As far as they are concerned, the western individualism can make them a
2、 better future. Whereas, they think, the Chinese collectivism is care about others felling and will more often. In my point of view, I am more interested in living the western kind of life too. The reason why I love western one is that individualism, in western culture, emphasize and respect individ
3、ual right and ability, the individualists always pursuit personal honor, individual freedom, equality, pioneering spirit and try their best to protect their privacy and work hard to realize their own value. And the westerners tend to put the right and privacy in the first place, always more confiden
4、t in themselves. They hold that everyone is reasonable so everyone should make responsibility for them. So westerners often release their hecceity, develop themselves freely, and approve their skills at any time by emphasizing their ability, intelligence, and personality. As we all know, foreigners
5、are good at creating, they proud of being different and striving to realize their personal value. However, Chinese collectivism is completely different. Although, Chinese tend to attach importance to harmony and public responsibility, they are easy to obey the authority which I disliked. Whats more,
6、 for Chinese people, it is vital to obey collectivism and sacrifice individual interests to protect public interests when it necessary. Avoiding contraction and considering others feelings all the time is the first task for Chinese people. Truly, collectivism do help build a harmony society, but it limits the improvement of individual. As a modern college student, I really want to enhance my skills and develop myself. The individualism can fulfill my dreamed life in the future. And thats why a large amount of Chinese young people like me are tending to live the western one.
