2、eatlyinfluencedbytheirownexperi-ences;meanwhile,theywitnessedthesufferingofthewomeninthelowerclassofsociety.Sotheycouldvividlyandtruthfullydepicttheinnerstateofthewomenintheirtime.Infact,thatswhythetwocharactersweresorealtothereaders.Bothofthetwowomenwereregardedasimpureandunacceptabletothecontempor

3、arypeo-ple,however,inthewriterseyes,theywerenotonlypure,butalsonobleinnature.Foralthoughtheysufferedalotaftertheturnsintheirlives,neitherofthemstoppedtreatingotherskindly.Especiallywhentheyfoundtheirtruelove,theycourageouslydevotedtoit.Fortheirtruelove,theyunexceptionallychosetosufferthem-selvesinor

4、dertomaketheirlovershappyafterthestrongconflictintheirheart.Intheend,eachofthetwowonothersrespectandtheirloversloveandunderstanding.Keywordsturnconflictsufferstrugglerepay!IntroductionInthehistoryofliterature,therearemanyspecialwriterswhoonlywriteaboutacertainsubjectoraboutacertainplace.Mostofthemar

5、egreatlyinfluencedbytheirownexperiences.Hence,theirwritingstylesareunique.Someofthewritershavecreatedverysuccessfulwomenchar-acters,amongthemIwouldliketolisttwo:ThomasHardyandAlexanderDumasfils.ThomasHardy,lastandoneofthegreatestofVictoriannovelists,wasborninDorsetonJune2,1840,inthecenteroftheWessex

6、countylaterfiguredinhisworks.Becauseofhisdelicatehealth,hedidntgotoschooltoreceiveformaleducationuntilhewaseightandhejuststudiedinthevillageschoolsandinthenearbytownofDorchester.Asamatteroffact,HardyWessexwasso-familiarthatitishardtorealizehowodditisthatanovelistshouldhavetiedhimselfbysomanystringst

7、oaparticu-lartractofterritory.Theenvironmenthadgreatinfluenceonhim,whichcanbeclearlyseenfromhisworks,especiallyhismasterpieces,forex-ample,TessofthedUrbervilles.AlexanderDumasfilswasbornonJuly27,1824,astheillegitimatesonofAlexanderDumaspereandCatherineLabay,aseamstress.Hisfa-therlegallyacknowledgedh

8、imandtookchargeofhiseducationin1831withoutacknowl-edginghismother.Inasuccessionofpensions(1831-9)wherehewastauntedforhisillegitimacy,Dumasfilswasthoroughlyunhappy.Hefelttheinequalityofhumanlifeandtheunluckinessofwomenfromhismother,whichbecomesoneoftheimportantreasonswhyheshowedgreatsympathyonwomenin

9、hisworks.Becauseofhislifeexperience,hisworksmainlybringssomesocialproblemssuchasadultery,divorce,etc.tolightandshowsprofoundsympathyonwomenlivinginthelowerclassofthesociety,especiallytheprostitutes,whichrevealshisdis-contentmenttothesociety.LaDameauxCamelliasisoneofhismostrepresentingworks.Theabstra
