1、Make a changeImmersed totally in the enlightening lectures given by the celebrated experts, I harvest not only specific and professional knowledge about English teaching but the inspiration and motivation to better myself persistently so as to become a qualified and genuine helper for my future stud

2、ents. The lectures make me reflect and the most impressive point is that a change, a real change in attitude, teaching concept and teaching methods is urgently needed. A change in attitude towards the job of teaching is needed because only when we enjoy what we do will we indeed devote ourselves to

3、it and find happiness in what we are doing. Teaching is tiring and the pay is unsatisfying, but seldom do people do what they love. Complaints wont make things better. Are we just laying bricks, building a house or creating a happy family? Our attitude will determine how far we can go and how much w

4、e can achieve. Stop complaining and start enjoying!A change in teaching concept is needed. Are we still expecting to be treated as the one who dominates the class and who is skilled at correcting mistakes and punishing the students? Are we still an industrious speaker instead of a good listener? It

5、wont work any more. Living in the Information Age, Students are individuals with independent thinking and they desire to be respected and are better motivated by our proper guidance and sincere encouragement. They tend to know more than us and it is time for us to be organizer, supervisor participat

6、or and learner in the classroom instead of the director in a one- man show. A change is needed in my teaching methods. The advice and experience offered by the experts are of great value for my future teaching. Firstly, learning English is like raising a child, while more often than not, we tend to

7、expect him to grow up overnight. Therefore we must bear it in mind that only when we follow the rules of learners cognitive development will advancement be possible. Secondly, English should be taught as a language instead of a subject. The ultimate goal of learning English is not to pass an exam bu

8、t to communicate and to know more about the world. Therefore, listening and speaking should be given priority. Once we are in the habit of thinking in English, we will have no difficulty in reading and writing. Thirdly, we teachers must allow students enough confidence and freedom to fulfill their p

9、otential and become people with independent personality. They need more than instructions. We are supposed to offer more encouragement and help them to form good habits such as reading aloud, imitating and cooperating with others to achieve the maximum efficiency with the minimum time. Whether the s

10、tudents learn anything in a class is a more meaningful question to answer than whether we teachers finish the class as we plan. Furthermore, a teacher who never reflects on his teaching will never become a great one, so I myself should make a timely refection and improve by analyzing my own demerits.Is teaching just teaching or a more instructive and enjoyable process of bettering myself by beautifying others? The answer is in my heart.
