1、What do you have to do?广州市第五中学张志梅教材依据人民教育出版社九年义务教育三年制初级中学教科书第二册第十八单元第七十二课。教学内容在课文内容的基础上,扩充了教学内容的深度和难度,围绕“看医生”这一中心话题组织学生开展活动。.Teaching designMy students are about 12 or 13 years of age.They have the advantage of being great mimics.They are often energetic and usually prepared to enjoy the activities

2、the teacher has prepared for them.On the other hand,they will not respond well to an activity that they perceive as childish,or well below their intellectual level.They easily lose confidence in face of difficulties.It is not an easy job to focus their attentions.Therefore the teaching activities sh

3、ould be within their abilities and developmental stage but at the same time sufficiently stimulate for them to feel satisfied with their work.The theoretical basis guiding this teaching design is taskbased teaching.By full use of a multimedia computer,I set up varied scenes of life to involve my stu

4、dents in lively and interesting situations and activate the teaching content.I try to invent something new to enliven every class for my students,like jokes,songs,stories,games and so on.I assign students different tasks at different stages so they can acquire and learn English by meaningful and com

5、municative activities.In the long run,I hope what I teach today will have something to do with promoting students consciousness of being the subjects of life,improving their individual character and enhancing their allround qualities.Teaching aims1.Linguistic:(1) Words and expressionsgardener,feel t
