B Lets read一、教学内容1、能够听说认读Lets read 部分的内容，特别是能听、说、认读单词：squid, lobster, shark, seal, whale和单位词ton, meter, kg, cm 等; 2、能听、说、认读短语和句子：Can dive into the deep cold water. Can jump out of water. Each up to 20 cm long. 并能正确完成填充句子的练习。3、能认识到爱护海洋动物、保护海洋资源是我们每一个人的责任。二、教材分析本课
2、是一篇阅读文段，主要是通过对抹香鲸和虎鲸这两种不同种类鲸的比较，使学生进一步掌握长度、重量等以及形容词比较级的用法。是在学习了形容词的比较级以后,为了提高学生对比较级的阅读和运用能力而设计的。教学目标：1、能够听说认读Lets read 部分的内容，特别是能听、说、认读单词：squid, lobster, shark, seal, whale和单位词ton, meter, kg, cm ; 2、能听、说、认读短语和句子：can dive into the deep cold water/jump out of water. Each up to 20 cm long. 并能正确完成填充句子的练
3、习。3、能认识到爱护海洋动物、保护海洋资源是我们每一个人的责任。重点：让学生理解、会读文段内容；并能正确理解几个单位词：ton, meter, kg, cm 。难点：理解、认读句子Each up to 20 cm long . Dive into the deep cold water . Jump out of water.教学准备：多媒体课件四、教学过程1 Warm up (1) Free talk : How tall are you ? How heavy are you ? Isheavier than you ?(2) 视频Lets chant.学生边听边跟唱，边唱边拍手。【设计意
4、图：从Greeting自然过渡到chant，复习前面几课时所学内容，为接下来的学习做好铺垫。在热身时让学生一起说唱本单元main scene中的chant.让学生进入到学习英语的氛围中。 】2. Lead-in(1) Oral practiceT: Are you smaller than me?Ss: Yes. T: How tall are you?S1: Im cm tall. Which is longer, the sperm whale or the killer whale? 在课件上呈现两种鲸鱼的身长数据15 meters和8 meters.老师自己引出length一词,带读。板书：Length: 15m 8m（4）同上，课件再次呈现各自的体重数据35 tons 和3600 kg。根据教材内容提问：How heavy is the sperm whale/killer whale? Which is heavier ,the sperm whale or the killer
8、 whale?出示weight，带读ton, weight ，解释：1 ton =1000 kg板书：Weight: 35t(35000kg) 3600kg （5）T：How many teeth does the sperm whales have ? How many teeth does the killer whales have ?How long is each tooth ?提示学生根据文段的内容回答问题。课件在两种鲸鱼头部分别呈现数据50（20cm）和 40(20cm) 。解释并带读短语each up 。板书：Teeth: 50（20cm） 40 (20cm)（6）Guessi
9、ng game : Whats its favourite food ? 呈现鱿鱼、龙虾、鲨鱼、海豹等几种动物的图片，让学生猜一猜这两种鲸鱼最喜欢吃什么样的食物。 呈现图片的过程中逐个板书新单词并带读每个单词三次。Ppt图片：鱿鱼(squid)，龙虾(lobster)，鲨鱼（shark），海豹（seal），海鸟（bird），海鱼（fish）板书：Food: squid，lobster, small shark ; fish, birds, seals, whales（7）T: What can they do ? 呈现两张图片，引导学生看图后结合课文材料回答：The sperm whale c

The killer whale is a good swimmer .It can jump out of the water.抹香鲸潜水图片，虎鲸跃出水面图片板书：Skill: can dive into the deep cold water good swimmer, can jump out of the water. 【设计意图：借助逼真的画面来吸引学生的注意力，引起学生的学习兴趣。同时让他们能很快地理解文段中的生词、难句。学生在回答老师的问题时,也同时在复习前五课时所学内容,起到知识循环的作用。】3、任务阅读 经
11、过以上过程,已基本解决了短文中的重难点。这时,就可让学生小组合作阅读文段内容,教师用课件出示一些判断题,让学生带着任务阅读。判断题如下: The sperm whale is longer than the killer whale.( )The killer whale is heavier than the sperm whale.( )The killer whale is smaller than the sperm whale.The sperm whales tail is shorter than the killer whales.( )The sperm whale can
12、dive into the deep cold water.( )The killer whale can not jump out of water.( )(5)完成课文中的填空并校对。(6)学生听录音跟读,模仿录音中的语音语调。【设计意图：阅读最主要的目的是让学生看懂短文主要内容,通过练习,了解学生掌握程度。】5、拓展延伸：比一比,写一写。模仿Lets read 部分的内容写一篇动物简介，题为“My favourite animal”。要求内容包括动物的体重、身高、长度、食物及其他特别的技能。【设计意图： 高年级的学生不仅要发展听、说、读的能力,而且写的能力也不容忽视。从模仿开始,通过长期
13、的练习，提高学生写作能力。】7、板书设计Unit 1 B Lets read Sperm Whale Killer WhaleLength: 15m 8mWeigth: 35t(35000kg) 3600kgTeeth: 50（20cm） 40 (20cm)Tail: 8m 6mFood: squid, lobster, small shark fish, bird, seal, whaleSkill: can dive into the deep cold water good swimmer, can jump out of the water.六、教学反思本节课的内容是PEP小学六年级英语下册Unit 1 Part B Lets read的部分。主要是通过对抹香鲸和虎鲸这两种不同种类鲸的比较，使学生进一步掌握长度、重量等以及形容词比较级的用法。是在学习了形容词的比较级以后,为了提高学生对比较级的阅读和运用能力而设计的。文段中出现不少生词，加上学生对于海洋生物的情况都很不熟悉，增加了阅读的难度。于是在这节课中，我设计了复习、引入、释疑、检测、拓展这几个环节，降低学生学习的难度，同时在各个环节里，我通过视频、图片等呈现逼真的画面，创设尽可能真实而丰富的教学情景，激起了学生学习的兴趣，同时使学生能更好地理解文段的内容。
