1、Unit 7Whats the highest mountain in the world? 形容词、副词比较级和最高级 1.形容词、副词比较级的用法。 (1)形容词比较级通常用于连系动词之后或名词之前。例如: Mybedroomisbiggerthanyours.我的卧室比你的大。 (2)副词比较级用于实义动词之后。例如: Lilyrunsfasterthanbefore.莉莉跑得比以前更快了。 (3)“A.比较级+than+B”表示“A比B”,前后相比较的两个事物属于同类。 (4)“A.比较级+than+anyother+单数名词”表示“A比其他任何一个都”,比较级形式表 示最高级含义。例
2、如: Heistallerthananyotherstudentinhisclass.他比班上其他任何一个学生的个子都高。 (5)“比较级+and+比较级”表示“越来越”。 (6)“the+比较级,the+比较级”表示“越,就越”。 (7)as.as.意为“与一样”,其否定形式为“notso/as.as.”,意为“不及;不与一样 ”。注意as与as之间要用形容词或副词的原级。 (8)询问两者选其一时,常用“Which/When/Who.+形容词/副词比较级,AorB?”句型。 (9)修饰比较级可用much,alittle,even,still,alot等。 注意:当比较级后有“ofthetwo
3、”之类的短语时,比较级前要加定冠词the。 2.形容词、副词最高级的用法。 (1)三者或三者以上的事物进行比较,使用形容词和副词的最高级,后面通常用 of/in/among.来表示比较的范围。 最高级的意义有时可以用比较级表示出来。例如: Mikeisthecleverestinhisclass.=Mikeisclevererthananyotherstudentinhisclass.迈克是班上 最聪明的。 “否定词+比较级”和“否定词+so.as”结构也可以表示最高级含义。例如: Nothingissoeasyasthis.=Thisistheeasiestthing.没有比这更容易的了。
4、“oneof+the+形容词最高级+名词复数”表示“最之一”。 (2)形容词最高级前面一般加定冠词the;副词最高级前面可以加,也可以不加。 (3)“the+序数词(除first外)+形容词最高级+单数可数名词”表示“第几(大、长等)” 。例如: TheYellowRiveristhesecondlongestriverinChina.黄河是中国的第二长河。 (4)询问三者选其一时,常用“Which/Who.+形容词/副词最高级,A,BorC?”句型。 .根据句意用所给词的适当形式填空 1.Thebagischeaper(cheap)thananyotheroneinthestore. 2.T
