Missing game.Revise the new words of last lesson by using the word cards to play the missing game.2. Using the picture of the dialogue to revise the dialogue of Model 1 Unit 1 Activi

5、ty 2.【设计思路】通过missing game,既激发学生的学习兴趣,又帮助学生复习了旧知识,为进入下一个环节做铺垫。Step 2 PreviewDesign the following questions:1. Where is New York?2. Can you tell me something about the US/ America?【设计思路】通过这两个问题的设置,了解美国的相关知识,可以起到承上启下的作用。让这一环节自然过渡到第二单元的活动5“Listen and say. Then chant. ”的教授环节。Step 3 Presentation1. Chant t

Next please look at the screen, there is a good chant about America, lets look.(PPT课件呈现)(1) Let the students watch the flash and listen to the chant twice.(2) Go through the chant sentence by sentence, and deal with some difficulties.(3) Say th

New drills teaching and practice.Use PPT to show some pictures of New York, Tennessee, and the picture of t

Then talk about the pictures like this:T: These pictures of New York are great, yes or no?Ss: Yes, they are.T: Tell me more about New York.Ss: Its.Next let the students make similar dialogues in pairs, according to the pictures on the PPT.【设计思路】本环节与上一环节的衔接自然,操练到了本节课的重点句型和对话。因为本节课

9、主要是对上一节课的单词和句型做进一步的巩固,其实那句型并非新的。3. Listen and say.老师再用PPT课件呈现 Model 1 Unit 1 Activity 3. Let the students listen to the tape and follow it.Then let the students practice in pairs or in groups or in halves or in boys to girls and act out.At last, give the students several minutes to recite the dialog

10、ues. Several minutes later, ask some students to recite the dialogue in the class.4. Practice.Show some pictures of Page 4 Activity 4 by using PPT, the teacher makes a model at first. eg:T: Its an animal.S: Tell me more about it.T: Its very big.S: Is its nose long?T: Yes, its very long.S: Oh! Then let the students act out.【设计思路】本环节的设计做到了词不离句,句不通过各种各样的操练形式来操练单词、重点句型和对话,让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中习得新知。Step 4 Consolidation and extension活动1: PPT课件出示几幅不同国家的图片,让学生用上句型: Tell me more about China/America/Australia. Its两人一组进行合作和交流,然后展示。活动2: 学生四人小组内开展小

12、记者调查活动,调查动物园里的动物。上课时组织开一个调查报告会。让发言的学生说说调查的结果,并由其他组的学生向该组的同学发问,如:Tel1 me more about the pandas/elephants/monkeys.等等。因为是学生熟悉和喜爱的动物,所以学生发问的积极性很髙,有效地运用了“Tel1 me about.”的句型。【设计思路】本环节设计了两个活动,使学生在合作探究中完成学习任务,运用所学的新知识。Step 5 Homework1. 听“Listen and say. ”部分录音,模仿表演。2. 收集动物的图片。用所学句型“Tell me about.”跟同学或朋友进行交流。
