8、 Beiji ng在北京in the country 在乡下in the river 在河里定冠词the的用法【概述】冠词是虚词,本身不能单独使用,也没有词义,它用在名词的前面,帮助指明名词的含义.英语中的冠词有三种,一种是定冠词( the),另一种是不定冠词(a /an),还有一种是零冠词(就是不用冠 词).【用法】(1)定冠词the不管指人还是指物、单数还是复数,其形式都不变.(2) the的发音： the 在辅音前读 /e? /,如:the floor, the table, the bed, the desk; the在元音(即一般前面用 an的词的首字母)之前发/ ei /,如the
9、 engineer, the ice cream, the old man, the open window .当我们想使听话者特别注意the后面的名词时,the就读为/ ei / ,意思是 这一个而且只是这一个或主要是这一个.(3) the的根本用法： the可与单数可数名词、复数可数名词及不可数名词连用. 用在第二次提到人或事物的前面.I have a bird. The bird is white.我有一只鸟,这只鸟是白色的. 用在说话双方都知道的人或事物的前面.Please ope n the win dow. 请关上窗户 用在单数可数名词前,表示一类人或事物.The steel worker makes steel.钢铁工人生产钢. 用在世界上独一无二的名词前.Which is the biggest, the sun, the earth or the moon ? 太阳,地球,月亮,哪一个最大？ 用在姓氏的复数形式前面.The Turners are having dinner. 特纟纳一家人正在吃晚饭. 用在乐器的名称前面.He can play the pia no.第4页/共3页
