Before I watched the film “ Brave heart myunderstanding of freedom was very simple. I just thought as long as people couldhave a full stomach, as long as they could obey the will of
2、rulers, they could alsohave a happy life. However, there are always some people who don?t like it. Theydon?t want to be slaves. So, htey rose in revolt to obtain freedom because theybelieve firmly it belongs to everyone and nobody can take it away except the god.The hero of this film is called Willi
3、am Wallace. He is the great leader of Scotland.He led Scottish fight with English in order to obtain freedom. However, as a result oftraitors?betrayed, he was arrested by the England authorities. No matter how theEnglish promised or threatened, Wallace never surrendered. What moved me deeplywas the
4、moment when Wallace was executed. He cried out,freedom?with all hisstrength. For freedom, Wallace gave his life. Also, from that moment, myunderstanding of freedom changed. Freedom is not only means to eat. It is a God-given gift to everyone. That means everyone has the right to resist despotism and
5、tyranny. We are God?s children, not rulers.Though Wallace died,his spirit encouraged more people in Scotland to continueto fight for freedom. Despite the poor condition and all the difficulties, Scottish peoplestill struggled. And eventually, they won their freedom. I thought if Wallace saw whathe p
6、ursued succeed in the heaven, he must be very happy.As a outstanding leader, both courage and wisdom are important. But wisdomisthe most important. AsWallaces uncle told him the first thing Wallecaeernshould lishow to use his brain then is sword. So, his uncle took him to many places andtaughthim ma
7、ny things. He inherited courage from his father but it was his uncle that gavehis wisdom. Because of these two things, Wallace is able to be faithful to theyearning for freedom. This film also broke people s general idea that hero weremore brave than wise.The last thing I want to say is its episode.
8、 It s so beautiful. When therings,my heart seems to be open in the vast grassland. I donbut t know whatwant torun, to cry, to shout and to scream. The Scottishbagpipe is really somelodious andso free.I like this movie very much. It taught me many things. It made me understand theprofound meaning of freedom. It made me understand the greatness of humannature. It made me understand what true love is. William Wallace, the hero in myheart, I will rember him forever and he will encourage me to obtain my freedomand my true love. That s all. Thank you!
