Abstract: This recommended practice provides recommendations for the design and coordinated deployment of fixed broadband wireless access systems in order to control interference and facilitate coexis

8、tence. It analyzes appropriate coexistence scenarios and provides guidance for system design, deployment, coordination, and frequency usage. It generally addresses licensed spectrum between 2 GHz and 66 GHz, with a detailed emphasis on 3.5 GHz, 10.5 GHz, and 23.5 43.5 GHz. Keywords: coexistence, fix

28、d Broadband Wireless Access Systems.) This recommended practice revises IEEE Std 802.16.2-2001. The original document covered 1066 GHz frequencies in general, with a focus on 23.543.5 GHz frequencies. The activity paralleled the project in the IEEE 802.16 Working Group to develop IEEE Std 802.16-200

29、1, which specified the WirelessMAN air interface from 10 GHz to 66 GHz. As the Working Group expanded the scope of the WirelessMAN air interface to include 211 GHz frequencies, in the project leading to the IEEE Std 802.16a amendment, the working group took up the task of developing a parallel exten

30、sion of its coexistence work to include 211 GHz frequencies. This revision includes the results of that effort, along with additional material on coexistence with point-to-point (PTP) systems.
