15、he full assessment level, released under the BS 9000 capability approval scheme. For the purposes of this standard a pulse transformer is a component that is essentially concerned with unidirectional pulses and the transfer of the energy and signals of these pulses from one section of a circuit to a

16、nother. Whilst no specific dividing line is practicable, low power pulse transformers are regarded as transferring information and high power pulse transformers are regarded as transferring power. This standard includes a typical format for a customers detail specification (blank). The specification

17、 should be completed and agreed between the manufacturer and the customer in accordance with 2.6.1 of BS 9720. 2 General requirements When a customer requires a pulse transformer that falls within the scope of a manufacturers capability approval, a customers detail specification shall be prepared. T

18、he completed specification will be given an identity by the manufacturer only after its contents have been agreed by the customer, and it will then be considered a contractual part of the order. Copies of all agreed customers detail specifications shall be retained by the manufacturers approved Chie

20、aracteristics 4.1 The customer and the manufacturer shall agree on the ratings and characteristics included in the customers detail specification. Instructions are given in the customer detail specification (blank) for the completion of mandatory and optional requirements. 4.2 For those ratings and

21、characteristics that are listed in 1.1.12 of BS 9720:1976, values shall preferably be selected from those given. 5 Inspection requirements 5.1 Pulse transformers for use in electronic equipment and released under the BS 9720 capability approval scheme shall be subjected to the tests listed in the fo

Tests marked with an asterisk (*) shall be performed only if the completed customers detail specification states that they are needed. 5.2 Tests shown in bold type are mandatory. 5.3 Where a subgroup contains more than one test, the tests shall be carried out in the order specified

23、 in the following schedule. 5.4 Specimens submitted to tests marked (D) shall not be accepted for release under BS 9000 (see 2.6.5 of BS 9000-1). In making the initial enquiry, the customer shall specify outline dimensions as far as is necessary by attaching to the customers detail specification a dimensioned sketch or drawing. Before the customers detail specification is allocated an identity, an agreed

31、drawing shall be included to show the dimensions that are essential for fixing and interchangeability. The drawing need not include full details of any aspect of the outline that is not critical or essential. 6.2 Fundamental information. The information required by the customers detail specification

32、 (blank) shall be provided before the detail specification is allocated an identity. In most cases this information will be provided by the customer at the enquiry stage as a basis for the manufacturers design process, but some items may need to be completed after consultation between the customer a

The agreed customers detail specification shall specify which of the test requirements in the appendix to this specification are applicable, by

The inspection shall be at the inspection level and AQL given in clause 5 of this specification. It is possible for the custo
