It is identical with IEC 60439-4:1990 including amendments 1:1995

8、and 2:1999. The start and finish of text introduced or altered by amendment is indicated in the text by tags !“. Tags indicating changes to the IEC text carry the number of the IEC amendment. 22、April 2004 2 Foreword Following the decision taken by CENELEC Technical Committee TC 17D at their Brussels meeting in October 1989, the International Standard IEC 439-4:1990 was submitted to the CENELEC Unique Acceptance Procedure (UAP) in April 1990 for acceptance as a European Standard. The text o

23、f the reference document was approved by CENELEC as EN 60439-4 on 10 December 1990. The following dates were fixed: For products which have complied with the relevant national standard before 1991-12-01, as shown by the manufacturer or by a certification body, this previous standard may continue to

24、apply for production until 1996-12-01. Annexes designated “normative” are part of the body of the standard. Annexes designated “informative” are given only for information. In this standard, Annex ZA is normative and Annex ZB is informative. The foreword of the reference document contains the follow

25、ing important information. Assemblies for construction sites (ACS) shall comply with all requirements of EN 60439-1:1990, Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies, Part 1: Requirements for type-tested and partially type-tested assemblies, if not otherwise indicated hereinafter and shall als

26、o comply with the particular requirements contained in this publication. The clauses of this standard supplement, modify or replace clauses in EN 60439-1. Where there is no corresponding clause or sub-clause in this standard, the clause or sub-clause of the main document applies without modification

This standard applies to type-tested assemblies (TTA) intended for use on construction sites, i.e. temporary places of work to which the public do not general

40、ly have access and where building construction, installation, repairs, alteration or demolition of property (buildings) or civil engineering (public works) or excavation or any other similar operations are carried out. These assemblies may be transportable (semi-fixed) or mobile. This standard does

41、not apply to assemblies for use in the administrative centres of construction sites (offices, cloakrooms, assembly rooms, canteens, restaurants, dormitories, toilets, etc.). NOTEAs regards the transformers incorporated in an ACS, it should be noted that both the nominal primary voltage and the nomin

42、al secondary voltage must be within the limits specified in IEC 439-1 for this standard to be applicable. 2 Definitions The definitions of part 1 apply with the following additions and modifications. 2.1.1.2 partially type-tested LV switchgear and controlgear assembly (PTTA) Not applicable 2.1.1.3 l
