4、I S PVC Windows for Interior Installed A 4714-1985 1. Scope This Japanese industrial Standard specifies PVC windows (l) for interior installed used for multiple windows at an opening in the outer wall of a building, hereinafter referred to as the “windows for interior installed“. Note (I) The PVC wi

5、ndows for interior installed shall be the windows for interior installed in the multiple windows using a glass, except for those for exterior installed. Their main components shall be of extruded materials according to JIS K 6740, and steel and aluminium alloy materials shall be used together as rei

6、nforcement, as required. Remark: The units and numerical values given in in accordance with the International System of Units, and are in this Standard are appended for informative reference. 2. Types and Symbols The symbol indicating windows for interior installed shall be itpit, and the windows sh

7、all be classified as shown in following (i) to (3). (1) The classification by the method of opening and closing shall be as shown . in Table 1. 13、erior Installed The shape of frame for windows for interior installed shall be suitable for fitting to the skeleton of a building, the interior structure or the frame of an exterior window. The sill used for a doorway shall not be deformed or damaged easily in the ordinary use. 3.2 Assembling The jo

14、ints in the assembly of main component members of windows for interior installed shall be made by fusion welding of resin, adhesion, fixing by bolts using an auxiliary metal member, fixing by screws, or others, such that they do not be easily separated by an external force. 3.3 Fixing of Attached Co

15、mponents The fixing portions of attached components used for windows for interior installed shall have a sufficient strength, for example, by the use of an auxiliary metal member. shall be so constructed that they are exchangeable. 17、 reinforcement of windows for interior installed, the thickness shall be 1.2 mm and over, and the minimum zinc deposite mass by hot dip galvanizing, be 90 g/m2 and over. When metal materials are to be used, measures shall be taken to prevent occurence of contact corrosion between different metals. 3

18、.5 Recess for Thermal Expansion of PVC The windows for interior installed shall have a construction wherein the deformation of principal component members due to the thermal expansion can be absorbed. 3.6 Connection of Groove for Glass and Glass The shape of groove for glass of a window for interior

19、 installed and the connection of the groove for glass and the glass to be used shall be as shown in the following (1) to (3). 20、nnection dimension (2) In placing a wire-net glass, a wired glass and a double glazing, the edge clearance b at the lower side shall be 7 mm and over, and a channel-shaped gasket shall not be used. (3) In placing a double glazing, the connection dimension c shall be 12 mm and over. Remark: When usin

21、g a float glass, a patterned glass and a toughened glass, 6.1 of JIS A 4706 shall be followed. 3.7 Removal of Water in Contact with Wire-Net Glass, Wired Glass, Laminated Glass and Double Glazing The windows using a wire-net glass, a wired glass, a laminated glass and a double glazing shall be const

22、ructed such that the water in contact with the edge portion of the glass can rapidly be removed. The dimension of a drain hole shall be 5 mm and over in diameter in the case of a round hole, 3 mm and over in width in the case of a slit and 18 mm2 and over in area with a minor diameter of 4 mm and ov

23、er in the case. of an elliptic hole. The number of drain holes in the bottom rail and the sill shall be 3 and more disposed at the center, right and left portions between the setting blocks of the glass. However, when the setting blocks do not serve as a dam, the drain hole at the center may be omit

24、ted. 4. Dimensions 4.1 Width and Height of Windows for Interior Installed The restriction for the width and height of windows for interior installed shall be defined as shown in Figs. 2.1 to 2.3.
