ScoDe This Japanese Industrial Standard applies mainly to production control of concrete, and specifies the method of rapid test for identification of alkali-silica reactivity of aggregates in which the mortar bar is cured under high pressure and high temperature

6、and the characteristic changes are measured. Remarks 1. The units and numerical values given in Standard are based on the International System of Units (SI) and are appended for informative reference. The

Equipment The equipment to be used for the test shall be as follows: (1) Balance The balance to serve for screening aggragates shall be of 2 kg w

9、eighing capacity and sensitivity 0.1 g. (2) Sieve The sieves shall be those of 150 um, 300 um, 600 um, 1.18 mm 2.36 mm and 4.75 mm in nominal size specified in JIS Z 8801. (3) Dryer The dryer shall be an electrical thermostatic dryer equipped =air stirrer and ventilator. (4) Crusher The crusher shal

16、 read while the specimen is inserted into the length measuring frame or the specimen is supported by the supporting base and the length measuring frame is placed to catch the specimen. It shall It shall comply with the following requirements: (a) The specimen supporting base shall be so constructed

17、that the base can support the specimen with its longitudinal axis horizontal or inclined at a constant angle to the horizontal and not move when the length of specimen is measured. (b) The length measuring frame shall be so constructed that in the measurement of the length variation of specimen, the

18、 axis connecting the contact of length measuring frame and the end of spindle of dial gauge can correctly coincide with the axis of specimen, and that the measurements, if repeated, can be done always under a certain conditions. (cl The dial gauge attached shall comply with the provisions of JIS B 7

SamDle Air dried aggregates shall be crushed, screened into 150 to 300 pm, 300 to 600 um, 600 urn to 1.18 mm, 1.18 to 2.36 mm and 2.36 to 4.75 mm, cleaned in water, dried at 105 to llOC until the mass is stabilized. 22、ampled by 90 g, 300 to 600 pm by 150 g, 600 pm to 1.18 mm by 150 g, 1.18 to 2.36 mm by 150 g, and 2.36 to 4.75 mm by 60 g, and the mixture shall be used as the sample. 4. (b) In the case of length variation, further immerse the specimen into water at 20 +- 2OC for

32、 at least 1 h, take it out from water, wipe off the water on the surface, and then carry out the measurement (3). Note (3) When the gauge plugs are not used, make the direction of specimen at the measurement before boiling identical to that after boiling. a 5. Calculation Carry out the calculation a

33、s given below and obtain the average value on three specimens. 42、e dynamic elastic modulus The difference between the average relative dynamic elastic modulus on three specimens and the relative dynamic elastic modulus of an individual specimen shall not exceed 1.5 8. 7. Decision (3) Length variation rate The difference between absolute values of the average leng

43、th variation rate on three specimens and the length I (2) Relative dynamic elastic modulus is 85 8 or more. The decision shall be made based on any one of the ultrasonic wave propagation velocity rate or the relative dynamic elastic modulus rounded off to an integer according to JIS Z 8401, or the l

44、ength variation rate rounded off to the second decimal place according to JIS Z 8401, and shall be decided as “harmlesst1 when the requirements given below are satisfied or as “not harmlesstt when the requirements are not satisfied. (i) Ultrasonic wave propagation velocity rate is 95 % or more. (3)
