Qualities 5.1 Appearance accordance with 7.2, shall comply with the requirements specified in Table 3. The appearance of the side m

The cutting edge of the tip shall be finished by grinding. The sur

24、face roughness shall be about 0.4a (1.6s) specified in JIS B 0601, and the cutting edge shall be free from harmful roll overs and nicks. The brazing shall be free from such defects in use as harmful cracks and discontinuities of brazing filler metal. There shall be no harmful defect in use. The surf

25、ace roughness of the inside surface of bore and both boss surfaces shall be about 0.8a (3.2s) specified in JIS B 0601. Testing methods 7.1 Shapes and dimensions cutters shall be measured by the methods given in Table 6. The shapes and dimensio

41、 shall be measured in accordance with the following: The run-outs of the cutting edges of the side milling cutters Further, these may be measured by other methods, as agreed between the parties concerned with delivery. (1) Radial run-out of peripheral cutting edge cutter with the test arbor tightly,

42、 mount this on the centre stand being placed on the precision surface plate as given in Fig. 1, apply the dial gauge perpendicularily to the peripheral cutting edge, take readings of the values of the dial gauge on respective cutting edges while rotating the side milling cutter in the direction of t

43、he arrow, and consider the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value to be the measured value. Incorporate the side milling Remarks 1. The precision surface plate shall be of the Grade 1 specified in JIS B 7513. 2. The dial gauge shall be that of 0.001 mm in scale interval speci- fi
