This Standard, which specifies the test method on abras

Open the stop

43、cock of air supply(8). Open the shutter for abrasives falling to let fall the abrasive, and at the same time start a timer (stop watch). Observe exposing condition of substrate (by color variation), and when its di- ameter becomes about 2 mm, stop abrasive falling, and just stop the timer. Record th

44、e duration (s) while the timer was working. Change the position of the test specimen and try the procedures from d) to h) two times or more. In this case, it shall be necessary to keep apart between adjacent two test spots by at least 10 mm in lateral direction and 20 mm in longitudinal direction. A

45、verage the values obtained at h) by repeated procedures, and make the aver- aged value W j . Then, carry out the procedures from d) to i) on the test specimen. When naked eye observed the color change on substrate exposed, stop the fall- ing of abrasives and at the same time stop the timer. e;) ._.
