3、try through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee according to the proposal of establishing a Japanese Industrial Standard from Japan Thermal Spraying Society (JTSS)/the Japanese Standards Association (JSA), with a draft of Industrial Standard based on the provision of Article

4、 12 Clause 1 of the Industrial Standardization Law. Cermet thermal spraying has been mostly utilized in various industrial equipments for the purpose of wear resistance, chemical corrosion resist- ance, heat resistance, thermal insulation and the like, for instance, in the mechanical parts and so on

5、 for iron and steel, textile, paper manu- facture. This Japanese Industrial Standard has been established based on the request of standardization of cermet thermal spraying to JIS under the background of such situation. 12、tted without license from IHS -,-,- JAPANESE INDUSTRIAL STANDARD JIS H 8306 : 2002 Cermet thermal spraying 1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the effective surface(1) of cermet thermal spraying coating (hereafter referred to as “coating”) performed for the pur- pose of giving wear r

13、esistance, chemical corrosion resistance, heat resistance, ther- mal insulation and the like to parts, products and so on. Note (1) The important surface for use. Remarks : Cermet thermal spraying means that coating is formed by a plasma spraying method or a powder flame spraying method by the powde

14、rs (composed of plural inhomogeneous phases) of high hardness and me- tallic property which are obtained by combining oxide, carbide, ni- tride, boride or silicide with metal. 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this Standard, constitute prov

15、isions of this Standard. The most recent editions of the standards (including amendments) indicated below shall be applied. 16、y. 4 Classification and symbols of coatings coatings shall be as follows. a) The classification and symbols of The classification and symbols of coatings shall be subject to Table 1 according to the main composition of spraying material. The main composition content of spraying material shall be the

17、 nominal value. However, the deviation from the percentages of the main composition content and the particle size of spraying material shall be subject to the agreement between the parties concerned with delivery. The spraying material shall be appropriately packaged and stored for the purposes of p

31、 is uniform and any cracks, lift, spatters, adhered foreign matters or other detrimental defects to use do not exist. 5 . 2 Texture of coating cross-section The texture of coating cross-section shall be, when tested according to 6 . 2 , such that the spray particles show a uniform dis- persion and i

32、t is free from any detrimental defects such as cracks, polluted matters (foreign matters) at the boundary between substrate surface and coating or voids do not exist. Furthermore, the photographing position and criterion for microscopic photograph of cross-sectional texture shall be subjected to the

33、 agreement between the parties concerned with delivery according to the purpose for use. 5 . 3 Coating thickness The coating thickness shall be tested according to 6.3 and the criterion shall be subjected to the agreement between the parties concerned with delivery according to the purpose for use.

34、5.4 The adhesiveness of wear resistant coatings or corrosion re- sistant coatings to substrate surface shall be tested according to 6 . 4 , and the crite- rion shall be subjected to the agreement between the parties concerned with delivery. Adhesiveness 5.5 Coating hardness The hardness of wear resi

35、stant coatings shall be tested according to 6 . 5 , and the criterion shall be subjected to the agreement between the parties concerned with delivery. 5 . 6 cording to 6 . 6 , and any cracks, separation or lift on coating shall not exist. 40、7. Adhesion strength test The adhesion strength test shall be in accordance with 5.4.2 of JIS H 8667. b) 6.5 5.5 of JIS H 8667. Coating hardness test The coating hardness test shall be in accordance with 6.6 Thermal shock resistance test The thermal shock resistance test shall be in accordance with
