10、ese Industrial Standard is prepared based on IEC 60869-1, Fibre optic attenuators-Part I : Generic specification published as the second edition in 1994, without modification of technical contents but the provision (for symbols de- noting attenuation system) not specified in the corresponding Intern
11、ational Standard is added. The above-mentioned IEC Standard number belongs to a new number series put in effort on and after January 1, 1997. As for Standards published before the above date, the numbers have been altered by adding 60000 to the original numbers. This is only change in the numbers, b
12、ut the content remains unchanged. 1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard covers general rules of optical attenu- ators for use in fiber optic transmission utilizing silica glass optical fibers, and specifies general common matters such as terms, classification, symbols, construction and per- form
