9、2002 Test methods for continuous induction type automatic train control 1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies test methods for the transmitter, wayside receiver, receiving coil for ATC and on-board receiver in the continuous induction type automatic train control with the signal curren

10、t running through the track circuit or the guidepath wire (hereafter referred to as “track circuit“). 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this Standard, constitute provisions of this Standard. 13、or testing For the purposes of this Standard, the following principal definitions continuous induction type automatic train control A safety system which consists of transmitter, wayside receiver, receiving coil for ATC, on-board receiver, on-board control, etc., receives continuously the signal cur

14、rent flowing through the track circuit on the train by means of induction, and limits the train speed automatically by comparing the speed conditions given by the said procedure with the train speed. transmitter A transmitter which sends the signal current to the track circuit. It principally consis

15、ts of oscillator portion, modulator portion, power amplifier portion, speed control logic portion, etc. wayside receiver A receiver which detects the signal current sent to the track circuit. It consists of filter part, demodulator part, selector part, received signal determining parts. receiving co

16、il for ATC An equipment which picks up the signal current flowing through the track circuit by means of electromagnetic induction. on-board receiver A receiver which receives the signal current from the receiving coil for ATC and gives the permissible speed of train or the like to the on-board contr

17、ol. It consists of filter part, demodulator part, selector part, interphase part, etc. PROTECTED BY COPYRIGHT 2 E 3007 : 2002 Transmit- ter on-board control A device which automatically limits the train speed by comparing the permissible speed with the train speed. It consists of speed checking part

18、, logic part, tachometer generator, etc. “operate“ This means such a state that a circuit or output is in operating state (e.g. operating contact of main relay is made). “reset“ This means such a state that a circuit or output is in returned state (e.g. operating contact of main relay is opened). mi

19、nimum operating level The minimum level of received input, at which the output of the receiver is “operatedtt. drop out level The maximum level of received input, at which the output of the receiver “resets“. 29、arity In this test, two receiving coils for ATC are placed on the prescribed positions on a rail of the prescribed length, connected in additive polarity, a prescribed signal current is passed through the rail, and then the output voltage of the receiving coils for ATC shall be examined. If the test

30、 is done by means of testing coils, the circuit illustrated in Fig. 3 shall be used. Test of receiving coils for ATC in subtractive polarity In this test, two receiving coils for ATC are connected in subtractive polarity in the same way as that of a) and the output voltage of the receiving coils for

31、 ATC shall be examined. 32、t test 7.2.2 Transmitter operation test In the transmitter operation test, the following items shall be examined by using the prescribed load of forward resistance: a) Oscillation frequency b) Transmitter output level c) Modulation degree, mark and space ratio or frequency deviation 1) For sinusoida

The time from the detection of train to the initiation of transmission when such a system is adopted that the transmission is initiated by the detection of train through the track circuit. 7.2.3 Operation tests of wayside r

36、eceiver and on-board receiver The operation tests of wayside receiver and on-board receiver shall be carried out on the following items: a) Tests for minimum operation level and drop out level In the tests for minimum operation level and drop level, the signal input applied to the receiver is gradua

37、lly increased and decreased, and each of the input levels when the output of receiver becomes in “operation“ and in “reset“ shall be examined. Signal receiving test In the signal receiving test, a prescribed signal input is given to the receiver and the conditions of the output under the state shall

39、art when the prescribed maximum input of other channels is applied to the channel shall be examined. Decoding function test In the decoding function test, prescribed coded data are given to the receiver and the conditions of the output under the state shall be examined. 40、st, each behavior of parameter relating with time from the instant when the prescribed input signal is rapidly applied to or removed from the receiver to the instant when the receiver output becomes in “operation“ or “reset“ shall be examined. d) e) Time characteristic test 7.2.4 Tests of on-board r

41、eceiver output interphase In the tests of on-board receiver output interphase, a prescribed signal input is given to the on-board receiver and then the conditions of speed control information output shall be checked. a) Level interphase test 1) Relay contact test The conditions of the contact shall

42、be examined when the relay is operated and “reset“. 2) Photo-coupler test The conditions of the photo-coupler under “operation“ and “reset“ shall be examined. b) Frequency interphase test The output frequency shall be examined. c) Serial data transmission interphase test The output data shall be exa

43、mined. 7.3 In the receiving level fluctuation test, the conditions of the output shall be examined when the signal level applied to the receiver is fluctuated through the prescribed extent. Receiving level fluctuation test 7.4 Frequency characteristic test In the frequency characteristic test, the c

44、onditions of the output shall be examined when the prescribed signal input is given to the receiver and the frequency of carrier wave or modulated wave is changed through the prescribed extent. 7.5 The test for resistance to interference shall be carried out in each of the cases where the input sign

45、al exists and does not exist, in such a manner that the conditions of the output are examined by applying the interference input at the prescribed frequency. Test for resistance to interference 7.6 Endurance test 7.6.1 Transmitter and wayside receiver The transmitter and wayside receiver shall be su

46、bjected to the period shown in Fig. 7 three times under operation state, and then examined for the performances stated in 7.2.
