Use reasons and specific examples to support your answer.答案:参考范文 What Change do You Want to Make in a School You Attended?

2、 School traditionally is a place for gaining book knowledge, therefore, many people deeply believe that consistent investment in facilities such as libraries, classrooms, or teaching materials is the most beneficial change that can be made in the interest of both the students and the school. However

3、, if I was granted an opportunity to bring something new to a school that I attended, it would undoubtedly be a multi-functi0n stadium. To begin with, a stadium could greatly increase the efficiency of students. Though students are aware that their priority in school should be absorbing as much as k

Students can easily work themselves to exhaustion, endangering their health and their ability to attend their classes. On the other hand, after

After several weeks, they might be stronger enough to stand heavy study loads. The most important thing is that gradually, they would bett

14、es to support your choice.答案:参考范文 Student Vacations In many countries students enjoy one long vacation a year, but in others they do not. Originally, the long vacation was necessary due to seasonal conditions. It was too hot, too rainy or too cold and snowy to go to school. This is still the case in

15、 some developing countries, but in most places in the world, progress has made it possible to keep schools open year round. So is the traditional long vacation beneficial for students, or should they be given several shorter breaks throughout the year? In my opinion, it would be better for students

16、to have more short vacations for several reasons. First, students must work very hard at their studies. If they work for too long without a break, they may become overtired and discouraged. They may lose their enthusiasm for learning. Second, a very long vacation is not necessary. Students can recha

17、rge their energy in a few days rather than weeks. Furthermore, many students do not use a long, vacation wisely and just waste their time instead of doing something meaningful. And last but not least, vacations give students time to explore other interests and perhaps apply what they have been learn

In conclusion, I believe that students today would benefit more from several short vacations than they do from a single long one. 问题:3. Directions: Some people say that ad

Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.答案:参考范文 Do Advertisements Promote Things We do Not Need or Pr

20、oducts that May Improve Our Lives? Advertisement has the purpose of selling products. Inevitably, it convinces many people to buy products that they do not actually need. Not long ago, an advertisement about a gold leaf necklace which was hand-made and therefore every piece was unique since it was m

21、odeled on a real leaf. The advertiser invited a famous talk show host and a gorgeous movie star to endorse the product. In the commercial, the host introduced the necklace with great passion and excitement and boasted that this particular real gold necklace was only $20 through hot-line booking, com

22、pared to the $200 market price. After this the star, showing off her attractive smile, posed to show how elegant the necklace was. The advertisement was rolled out just before the New Year and advised that this necklace was the most appropriate present and that everyone should buy one for New Years

23、gifts for their families. Although people usually prefer to buy healthy foods, flowers, or clothes for New Years, many people were intrigued by the extremely low price and, based on their trust in those celebrity endorsements, 56% of people who watched the advertisement bought at least one necklace.

24、 In the end, it proved to be a total fraud. The material the necklace was made of was not actual gold but instead was copper with a market price less than $2.5. Although some people would argue that advertisements definitely provide detailed explanations of products for the public, in my viewpoint,

25、this information is usually misleading, and sometimes even outright deceptive. This particular advertisement not only convinced people to buy something that they did not need, but even convinced to buy an unnecessary object that was out of their price range. On the other hand, for those advertisemen

26、ts that do express the genuine product, they used to highlight specific function to attract a particular group of people. Take myself for instance, I am a girl who likes to do outdoor exercise, especially jogging, playing tennis and never invest on cosmetics since I believe it is all artificial. How

27、ever, one day, a tanning product advertisement on TV suddenly caught my eyes that claims it could bring double-fitness for the outdoor sports enthusiasts as it could not only effectively lift the skin right after exercise, but also improve the pale skin color. I eventually bought one because I would

Without the advertisement, I would never consider the shining brown skin the outdoor jogging could bring me! To sum up, despi

29、te the fact that many advertisements are full of imagination and creativity, using aesthetics to illustrate product features for the audience, I still insist that they sometimes distort the real effect or persuade people to buy something that is not a necessary part of their lives. 问题:4. 30、 Your school has received a gift of money. What do you think is the best way for your school to spend this money? Use specific reasons and details to support your choice.答案:参考范文 The Best Way for My School to Spend the Money To tell you the truth, our school needs an enormous gift of money. Our schoo

However, if the gift could only be used to finance one thing, I would spend the money on teachers. High quality teachers are the core of a good

32、 school and you cant keep them by paying peanuts. I went to a high school that spent the bulk of its budget building a new stadium, swimming pool, gymnasium and running track. The spots facilities were first rate but the teachers were paid slow that the school could only attract inexperienced ones.

33、In fact, sports coaches were teaching some of our academic courses. Out of the 189 students in my class, 18 flunked and could not graduate. Thats nearly 10%, the highest high school flunk rate that year. Theres a lot of truth to the saying, You get what you pay for. Most teachers arent money hungry,

34、 but they have personal needs too. Money is one of them. Educating students, day after day, requires a high degree of preparation, concentration, and commitment. If a teacher isnt getting enough sleep because hes worried about how hes going to support his parents on his meager salary, hes not going

35、to perform well in class. Its also difficult to attract and keep highly educated teachers if the amount youre paying them is less than what other schools are willing to pay. I also believe that hiring more teachers will result in smaller classes and a better learning environment. Expels have said th

From my own experience, I found that teaching small groups allowed me to recognize and address the weaknesses of each indiv

I think its great if a school can have nice dormitories and climate controlled classrooms. However, these things are of little consequence if the school doesnt hav

The reason is that education is so important to both this society and individuals. It is my dream to develop a school for the children who have

It is a common sense that intellectuals are more conformable than the others. Bandits or brigands are usually composed of those unc

Secondly, our society needs to be constructed by their civilian with their technique or skills much more than

Thirdly, individual in this earth should be equal with all rights including being educated. What tragedy it is that so many kids abandoned or are abandoning their study for their poverty. So many films about these poor children always made me in tears! I swear if only I have the power, I will do my best to help them other than just donate those little faint money! If I have some land, I will open a school, definitely! 10 / 10
