Scooe UDC 62-777621.643 J I S Z 9102-1987 This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the general matters governing the identification marking on piping systems for the purposes of effecting safety including prevention of erroneous operati

5、on of valves in piping systems and of improving the handling practices of piping systems in factories, mines, schools, theaters, marine vessels, vehicles, aerial safety equipment, etc. 2. Definitions The meaning of the principal terms used in this standard shall be as follows: ( 1) identification co

6、lour The colour painted for distinguishing from outside the kind of material contained in the pipe. (2) material marking The marking for showing the kind and name of the material in the pipe. (3) state marking The marking for showing the state of the material in the pipe. (4) safety marking The mark

7、ing by means of safety colours (safety colours specified in JIS Z 9101, hereinafter referred to as the “safety colours“), painted on the pipe for promoting safety. following three markings. The generic term of the (a) danger marking The marking showing that the material contained in the pipe is dang

8、erous. (b) extinguisher marking The marking denoting that the material in the pipe can be used for fire extinguishing. (c) radioactivity marking The marking denoting that the material in the pipe is the dangerous article having radioactivity. 3. Identification Marking: 3.1 Material Marking The mater

11、1987 Kind of material (1) Identification of the kinds of material in the pipe is marked by using seven kinds of colour given in Table 1 (refer to Attached Fig. i). Identification colour (2) The marking of the names of the material in the pipe shall be as follows (refer to Attached Fig. 2). (a) The n

12、ames of material are marked either without abbreviations, or by using the chemical symbols. Example 1: drinking water, sulfuric acid (b) The character of material name and the chemical symbol of material shall be written on the groundwork of an identification colour using the safety colour white or

The identification colour is expressed in accordance with JIS Z 8102. For the gas vent pipe or the like in a mine gateway, the safety colour yellow is

14、 used. 3. Though electricity is not a material, a conduit tube is identified in the same way as for other regular pipings. 4. If an identification colour is needed for material other than those given above, an identification colour other than specified above shall be used. 2. 3.2 State Marking 3.2.1

15、 Identification of Flow Direction i n arrowhead shall be used for the indication of the flow direction of the material in the pipe as follows: (i) The arrowhead is denoted in white or black. 17、me, shall be in its vicinity refer to Attached Fig. 3 (a) 1 and, when the identification colour is marked on a tag attached to the pipe, shall be on the tag refer to Attached Fig. 3 (b)l. Remarks 1. For the purpose of simultaneously marking the kind of material and the flow direction, an arrowhead m

18、ay be represented in the identification colour of the rectangular frame to be directly painted on the pipe (refer to Attached Fig. 4). 2. For the purpose of simultaneously marking the kind of material and the flow, a tag of identification colour to be attached to the pipe may be formed into the shap

19、e of an arrowhead (refer to Attached Fig. 5). 3.2.2 Marking of Characteristics of Pressure, Temperature, Speed, etc. When it is necessary to identify the pressure, temperature, speed, etc. of the materia1 in the pipe, the amount shall be denoted with the figures and unit symbols In this case, the me

20、thod for marking shall be similar to that of 3.1 (2) (b) (refer to Attached Fig. 6). Example: Example of pressure marking 0.2 MPa Example of temperature marking 80C Example of speed marking 0.5 m/s 3.3 Safety Markinn 3.3.1 Danger Marking The danger marking shall be as follows: (1) Marking Method by

Both ends of the yellowish red zone are bordered (2) Marking Position Danger marking is put in the vicinity of the position where the identification colour of 3.1 (1) is marked refer to Attached Fig. 71. 3.3.2 Extinguisher Marking The extinguisher marking shall be as follows: (1) Marki

(2) Marking Position Extinguisher marking is put in the vicinity of the position where the identification colour of 3.1 (1) is marked refer to Attached Fig. 8 (a) and (b). Further, in case the material in the pipe is for exclusive use

However, Lhe illuminanc

31、e factor is indicated by the value obtained when the value of perfect reflecting diffuser is taken as 1.00. ( 2 ) These represent Lhe angles in the range of chromaticity coordinates. (i) These values are obtained by CIE standard illurninants in accordance with JIS Z 8721. ( 4 ) These colours are spe

32、cified in JIS 2 9101. 5. Position of Identification Marking and Its Executing Method Identification marking shall be carried out by painting the specified portions or attaching the sticker on which necessary items are marked to the position or part near the valve and pipe joint of piping, partition

33、wall, etc., or otherwise by attaching the tag on which necessary items are marked to the pipe. Further, when especially required, identification marking may be carried out by painting the identification colour over all the piping.
