18、,我很累。 The tiring (tire) trip made me tired. 令人疲倦的旅行让我感到很累。 (教材 P22)I have received letters from so many people,all expressing their concern我收到了很多人的来信,所有人都表达了他们的关心。 要点提炼 句中 all expressing their concern 是一个由“代词现在分词”构 成的短语,叫作独立主格结构,作该句的非限制性定语,相当于定语从句 all of whom expressed their concern,补充说明先行词 people。

19、(1)独立主格结构的构成 :名词/代词不定式/现在分词/过去分词/形容词/副词/ 介词短语。其中名词/代词是独立主格结构的逻辑主语。 (2)独立主格结构的作用:多作状语,可表示时间、原因、条件、伴随情况等, 相当于一个状语从句或并列句;也可作定语,相当于一个非限制性定语从句。 (3)独立主格结构的逻辑主语与句子的主语不同,它独立存在。 (4)独立主格结构一般由逗号与主句分开。 The girl staring at him,he didnt know what to say. 姑娘两眼望着他,他不知道说什么好。 Her glasses broken(break),she couldnt see

20、 the words on the blackboard. 眼镜摔坏了,她看不见黑板上的字。 The class over(After the class was over),we all went out to play. 下课后,我们都出去玩了。 (教材 P22)It was with great sadness that they learnt of the mans death. 正是伴着巨大的悲伤他们了解到那个人去世了。 要点提炼 It was.that.为强调句型, 这里强调了状语 with great sadness。 强调句型的一般句式为 “It is/was被强调的部分tha

21、t其 他 部分” 。that 只起连接作用,不作成分,但不能省略,可以强调句子的主语、宾语 和状语。 (1)强调句型的一般疑问句形式 Was/Is it被强调部分that其他? (2)特殊疑问句 疑问词was/is itthat其他? It was in the library that I saw her yesterday. 我昨天在图书馆见到的她。 It is not who is right but what is right that is of importance. 重要的不是谁是对的而是什么是对的。 What is it that you want me to say? 你到底

22、想要我说什么? 名师点津 “强调”一点 强调句型有时易与主语从句(带 it 作形式主语的情况)混淆,判断的方法是:如 果将句子中的“it is/was”和“that”去掉,句子依然通顺,则是强调句型,否则就不是。 (教材 P26)Whichever way I look at it,Ill never be really good at anything unless I quit doing everything else. 分析 复合句。whichever 引导的是让步状语从句;在主句中包含有 unless 引导的条件状语从句。 翻译 无论从哪个方面看,我将永远不能做好任何事,除非我放弃做
