8、ess的宾语一般是表示人的名词,而不是表示衣服的名词。4)dress up:动词短语,“打扮漂亮”“打扮成某种样子”。例如: They all dressed up for her birthday party .We are going to dress the boy up as a PLA man .5)be dressed in 指某人在某场合穿什么衣服。6)have on 指“穿”后状态,后可接衣服、帽子、鞋子等能穿戴的东西,但它不能用于进行式。例:He has on a blue coat today . 7)be in表示状态,后接衣服,也可接表颜色的单词。例:The boy i

9、n black is my brother . 5、whatever1)、whatever作连接代词,意为无论什么;不管什么,连接宾语从句、主语从句。如:They eat whatever they can find. 他们找到什么就吃什么。You can take whatever you like.你喜欢什么就拿什么吧。2)、whatever作连接形容词,意为无论什么样的。应当注意, 此用法的whatever必须同其被修饰的词一起放在从句前引导从句。如:I can do whatever work I can find.我可以做我能找到的任何工作。Whatever difficulties

10、 we meet, we can work them out.3)whatever与what的区别。whatever可以引导名词性从句或状语从句;what是个疑问词,用在疑问句中。如:4)、whatever与no matter what的区别。no matter what 只能引导状语从句,但whatever既可引导状语从句,还可引导名词从句。Dont trust him, no matter what he says. 12、意为当心;注意,后跟名词或从句,也可单独使用。 如: Mind the step! 小心台阶! Now mind! You must hurry home. 注意啦!你必须赶快回家。 2. 意为介意;在乎,主要用于疑问句和否定句。 作不及物动词。 如: Do you mind if I call you later? a. 如果同意;不反对别人做某事,答语用否定形式。 b. 如果不同意;反对别人做某事,答语用肯定形式。一般多用I am sorry.或Im afraid.等以缓和语气。 -Do you mind if I smoke? -Not at all, please. -Would yo

13、u mind me opening that door? -Im sorry, but its not allowed. 作及物动词,后面通常接名词、代词、V-ing形式、复合结构、从句等。 如: Would you mind my closing the window?注意:Do (Would) you mind doing sth.? 这一句型通常用来表示请他人做某事,常译为可否请你做.或劳驾你做.,多用Would开头,用Do的情况较少。 Would you mind making some room for the patient? 三、mind的常用短语: change ones mi
